This is my boy Beanns...A.K.A Catfish, Beanie Weenie, Weezil, Peanut Gallery, Monkey Shine, Piggy, and sometimes even Capt' Muskie. Beanns is a mean little Chinese Crested who was clearly meant to be mine. He's a dud. I got him at 5 weeks old he weighed in at under a pound and his teeny eyes weren't even barely opened. I wanted to give him a big strong name like Maximus then I noticed a strong resemblance to those little beanie weanie sausages with his pinkish coloring and the saggy baggy skin. The name stuck. Not only did he have a rotten disposition I realized early on something was amiss. For starters he never grew any hair. No I'm not stupid I knew they were a hairless dog, however they are supposed to grow a big plume on top of their heads and all along their tails. Nope Beanie is as bald as a baby's ass except for a bit of red peach fuzz on top of his head. The second thing that clued me into being wrong is that all his teeth grew in at once. He had two rows of sharp little teeth like a shark. A mean, biting, angry little land shark. Oh and his tail is twisted like a pigs tail.
Beanns is going to be seven this year (people age, not dog years) and he currently has a more extensive wardrobe than I do, he refuses to do any tricks that he feels will humiliate him and I still can't break him of biting. Personally I think he just likes to do it now. I tell everyone he's a love bug to me but nobody believes it. He doesn't play well with others so that's all company gets to see. But he's my boy and I wouldn't have it any other way.
